We have a front LR and absolutely love it. My wife wants to replace it in the future with another front LR. We have noticed one thing about the new front LRs that we don't like. You loose a lot of the "basement" storage. Our current model has three "levels". The middle (kitchen) is one step lower than the front LR, and thus a couple feet above the frame, allowing the manufacturer to build some basement storage under the kitchen. You then step down once you get near the bath/BR in the rear. The new ones have the main living/kitchen/bath area at the frame level all the way up to the gooseneck, and then you step up three or four steps into the LR. This reduces the amount of basement storage. Some have a couple feet of storage in the front, but not near the "full basement" that my current unit has. I have basement storage from the front of the unit all the way back to the wheels. Granted I have a lot of "crap" in there, but I have never run out of storage.
