No matter what, you can continue to use the toilet. Just flush with antifreeze.
ok - thanks. I was worried about that seeing as the black tank valve is frozen shut. do you think flushing with warm water once the pipes are thawed will help thaw out that valve? grey/galley tanks are wide open so no issue with those. for whatever reason i just didn't open the black last night. again. noob mistake and being from texas where it doesn't get like this lol
If it's just the valve, take the hair dryer outside and blow some good warm air on it and then try to dump. Once you get things dumped, put some of that RV antifreezes in there and then keep warm air going inside and it will keep the poo from re-freezing.
i'm assuming it's just the valve, the other two tanks have their valves open and this one is stuck closed. i have no idea where the valve would even be underneath the RV...?? i guess i could google a layout of the pipes?? i have no idea, we are out of our league here. didn't do enough research before leaving TX lol
it's not likely there's any valves hidden and inaccessible in the underbelly.
Looking inside your bottom cabinets, under the bed and in the dinette.
If that fail look for access doors like a false bottom in a cabinet or next to the shower.
