Sake of argument: 1300 miles. Truck gets/ave 10 mpg. 1300/10 = 130 x $2.50= $325.00 ONE WAY. To concur w/ Snowman again, figure 350 on the high side to give yourself some wiggle room (add more if necessary).
So the math is not that simple, as the OP lives north of the Border. Liters and Imperial gallons, and kilometers.
There are 3.875 liters to a US gallon and a mile is 1.613 kilometers.
