Hope you had a headwind and running 70 to get 6.9.
There was a stretch where I had a bit of a wind coming at me at about a 45 degree angle .... I was getting just over 5 mpg then. Thankfully most of the trip didn't have much wind. Probably averaged about 65 mph.
Yea wind does matter! I was Westbound on Hwy 40 trying to get the HE!! outa OK as it was COLD with a 40mph head wind. One point my fuel economy was 5mpg.
