Furrion vision s problem

Hey All,

I'm having an issue with the Furrion 4.3 observation camera I just purchased. The manufacturer claims the camera will work at distances over 250 feet away. When I turn on the camera it works for about 5 seconds then says "no signal". Even when the camera and monitor are only an arms length away without any obstruction it drops the signal. Before I send the camera back I thought I'd ask Y'all if perhaps there is a setup procedure I'm missing. I've tried different antenna angles, etc... and nothing seems to help. Is it just a defective unit and should I try a replacement? Is this a common problem with wireless cameras?

Thanks!

I think it is a common problem with electronics. "DOA" - dead on arrival. When I look at the ratings for a lot of products, and particularly electronics, the one star ratings are often "DOA".

Give Furrion a call. They have a great support staff.
  • I sent the camera back and re-ordered a replacement. After several re-pairing attempts from just a couple feet away I decided it had to be a defective unit. Especially after reading all the good reviews from others with the same camera.

Should be here by the end of the day!

    Thanks!
