Fuzion 301 : Broken Happijac Bunk Bed Chain

2014 Fuzion 301 Toy Hauler

Haven't head back from Happijac support.

I raised the lower bunk against the upper bunk and snapped a link in one of the chains.

I thought I'd find a link repair kit but found zero mentions of one. Haven't even found a site that sells the whole chain. :-(

Anyone else had chain problems and found a location to have them repaired or replaced?

TIA

Hey everyone I keep seeing people having trouble with their happy jack chain. I also had one snap and didn’t get a response so figured it out myself.
This is the fix if you have a tractor supply near you go get a county line #35 connector grind the broken pieces of chain off like changing a bike chain link. Loosen the tension at bottom of rail slide the link together adjust tension and you are ready to go. Yes this kit is for a roller chain but it works great or change the whole chain with country line #35 roller chain

    Hey pritchard5151,

Is this the right replacement? Any idea if 10' is the right length for the whole chain?

Looks like they have one in stock at the feed store across town from me.

EDIT: Add a 4-pack of master links. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/tru-pitch-connecting-link-chain-size-35-pack-of-4?cm_vc=IOPDP1
  • I should probably add that to the travel kit. It would be a disaster to snap that on a trip and not be able to load the garage.

  • I haven't taken it to a chain shop yet. On my list.

I had to call Happijac as they never answered their contact form. I got a voice mail response with a list of dimensions, part numbers and prices.

FYI average price was around $75.
  • looks like regular bicycle chain, have you looked for a master link at a bike shop?
