16,300# GVW for the TH could yield a pin weight of 3200#, depending on how you load the unit...and again, that would only be if you loaded to the max GVW....To try to "guess" how much weight you'll have in the TH doesn't alway's work out...until you trade a unit in, pull the old 5er in beside the new one and unload everything from the old one into the new one...most find out they had more in the camper than what they thought.
I don't know much about the 2500/250 trucks, but would think that a 3500/350 3500 SRW truck would work better for that weight 5er...My 5er has a GVW of 16,950. loaded to 16,300# has a pin weight of 3460#, but I know TH's load differently.
I think the you'll go over your trucks GVW, but don't know about RAWR....will have to weigh your truck and do the math.....That's a fairly heavy unit for a 2500.
Like someone said, IF you really want that 5er, get it set up, hook up and tow the TH and you'll find out then if it's the right truck for the job or not.
