I bet you are probably right, but I was looking at the GVWR sticker on the door jamb and noticed a yellow sticker under it that was labeled "Tire and Loading Information". It stated that the combined weight of the passengers and cargo should not exceed 1976 pounds.
Wow...to put that into perspective my f150's yellow sticker gives my #1724 for cargo.
