One thing to consider short term is if you already have trips booked for the Puma, a bigger unit may not fit in those sites and all the good places are fully booked so they may not be able to accommodate you. The only thing inconvenient about our move from a 30' 5er to the Fuzion is needing to plan our trips well in advance to be able to find a site that will fit us. With the 30', we used to be able to book sites with 1 to 2 weeks notice most places.
The other thing to watch out for is most campgrounds will try to tell you that their 40' long site will fit your 40' trailer. I always question them to make sure that the site they are giving us is at least 10-12' longer than our trailer. I use Google Earth to view the site and measure it to confirm that it is adequate. Big trailers are roomy and comfy, but it comes at a price.
