Spleen,
I have been looking at the Cyclones and the Fuzions as well, as my wife and i are ready to sell our Rage'N fsc2800 and step up. Its been a great rig and very well built. I sold my Chevy 2500 and bought a F450 in anticipation of a 35-40 ft TH. I really like the Cyclones floor plans, King bed, garage/patio door setup and large bathrooms but as far as build quality i'd choose fuzion any day.
One thing about my Ragen is they used real wood cabinets, with great carpet and upholstery. Now that i look at other RVs i can see that most don't. I spose they have to lighten up the rigs and the cabinetry is where most seem to start. In fact the cyclone was so cheesy it had a sink backsplash made to look like glass tile that was wallpaper. And even that was wrinkled from whoever put it on. for 60+ thousand dollar cant you give me something other that wallpaper? The trim on all four (Cyclone) models was off or mismatched in various locations... Really? The over-all quality difference was huge to me and my wife. The solid wood doors in the fuzion are a huge plus from someone with 2 small kids who become little godzilla monsters at 6am looking for breakfast! I am not a fan of the 342 bed set up. But i like the new frameless windows, the doors have struts on them now so when the wind blasts us it won't fly open easily.
Anyways i could go on and on but everyone has their .02. I have been visiting the various dealers to check out the rigs. I have yet to look at the XLR in person but of the ones i have physically looked at i'd go with the fuzion.
