Aw, come on, you know that 21' is just too small for 3 teenagers let alone 2 BIG dogs! LOL Sell the boat and get the big toyhauler!
Seriously though, I understand where you are coming from. We had a nice little 30' Rockwood 5th wheel that more or less met our needs. It really only slept 4 comfortably which worked for the 4 of us, but the kids (boy 13 and girl 9) were at that age where sleeping together on the sofa bed just wasn't working for them. We had always dreamed of having a big toyhauler from the beginning so it seemed like the time to move up. The bigger trailer allows my divorced sister-in-law and her three kids to come along with us or my brother and his family. The more the merrier, right?
We ordered the Fuzion last August, took delivery in early October and only used it once last year for our big trip to Disney World in November. Many times over the Winter months as I was making that payment I wondered if it had been the best decision. I could give you a dozen reasons why it was not the right time or most wise thing to do, but every time I start to think like that my mind immediately goes back to that wonderful week at Disney and all the fun that the five kids had (not to mention the three adults!).
Our work schedules still don't allow us to get out as much as we would like to. Even though we haven't used it more than five times in ten months (it is scheduled for some heavy use the rest of the Summer/Fall), we are still very happy with the purchase and extremely happy every time we use it and remember the Rockwood days!
Good luck with your future camping endeavors! No matter if it is in the Puma or a 40+' toyhauler, you will always enjoy it as long you do it as a family.
