G-Rated Tire Recommendations

I need to replace the Goodyear G614 Tires on my trailer and I'm hoping to do it without having to resort to bank robbery. Doing an online search, I'm finding a few Chinese brands I've never heard of. Anyboody got any real world recommendation for a tire somewhere between these two poles?
Thanx,
Jim

First off stay far away from the Chinese tires. On my first 5th wheel I put on standard Michelin LT truck tires and they were great. On my current toy hauler I put on Michelin XPS ribs. I have had no tire issues with any of these truck tires on my either of my rigs and I tow coast-to-coast.

Most likely the Michelin ribs are not even rated for what he needs. He's running a G rated tire, not too good to be recommending a lesser rated tire.
  • G614 or Sailuns; check amazon, about 2 weeks ago they had G614 for $165.00 each and free shipping; about 1/2 normal price
  • Sailun's Sailun's Saliun's. So far the Sailuns have been outperforming the Goodyears, and at nearly half the price. Its robbery what they are asking for the Goodyears

The Michelin XPS Rib is a fine E-rated LT tire, but the OP needs a G-rated tire.
  • Sailun S637's now comed in two 16" sizes. The smaller diameter ST235/80R16G are the same diameter as the GY G614's and standard ST235/80R16E's. The ST235/85R16G are 1" larger. Both are all steel ply tires. Chris
  • I recommend using Sailun tires. There are many happy users on here and zero complaints. About half the price of Goodyears.
