I've taken apart carbs all my life briggs and stratton carburetors, weed eaters,powered scooters motorcycles, Hollys and so on. What kills a carburetor old gas even with additives. While some here will tell you to run the lower octane, I'll tell you things runs better and last longer with higher octane fuels.
