I am NOT CONCERNED AT ALL- I have faith in my engineering and welding. Lippert/GD specifies 300 lbs static load. They do not specify dynamic load but you can be sure that they accounted for it. Since most will mount one of those Harbor Freight cargo racks on the back -which just happen to also stick out several feet past the rear, as do the folding cargo rack rated for 500 lbs that many RV's come with.
