The rack and generator will place a substantial cantilever load on the receiver, whereas a conventional trailer places the load much closer to the receiver's crosstube. I'm sure your welding is flawless, but the frame mounts, side plates and crosstube on the 300/3000 lb rated receiver are still going to see some heavy dynamic loading due to the weight of the rack, generator and cantilever effect.
