Nice work looks great.
All of you with your opinion on if it will hold or if you would drive behind them bla bla bla. We hear this all the time on here.
You know what i have never heard on here????????
My rack broke and i lost my generator or i lost my bikes or i lost ????
Nor have i ever seen it in 30 years of driving.
Im sure you can go find a post about the frig on while driving and tell us how you don't do that either.
As you can tell i don't like negativity when someone dose a job well done.
ok i will step down now
There have been plenty of instances of broken racks and lost bikes.
Don't fool yourself into believing it doesn't happen.
Please show me the thread in the last year!!!
Lantley is correct. There have been numerous posts about broken bike racks with the loss of the bikes, some complete with photos. Why should he have to spend the time to look them up for you? In my opinion you should do that yourself. Also, why does it have to be in the last year? I can't see what the time element has to do with the facts.
As far as the negativity goes, I think the posters are not trying to be negative but instead are trying to help the OP from possibly making a mistake that could cost him an expensive generator and/or the lives of anyone following him should the rack mounting fail. I don't see that as negativity at all but as experienced RVers helping other RVers. I, for one would be glad to receive advice from others who noticed that something I was doing could possibly have negative consequences.
To the OP - nice job! :) Hope it works out well for you.
