Years ago when I was on the road I had a tire shop in a larger size town replace one right side tire on a loaded 20K GN trailer. I just happened to look out a side window as a hs age kid was jacking against the frame with a single 5' long floor jack. By the time I could get outside to stop him the damage was already done. He bent the frame in front of the of the axles just enough that the right front corner was lower than the left side. I had him place the jack under the axle next to the U bolt...that way only the weight on the end of the axle is all that needs to be lifted.
The tire shop paid the 235 bucks for a big rig shop to bend the frame back to normal.
bpound picture is the only way I or anyone jacks any of my loaded trailers including my rv trailer when changing tires.
