Nuwa is pretty much out of business and the Hitchhiker II's all had Lippert frames. Lippert makes the frames to the manufacturer's spec.
All of this business with poor welds could be stopped if the manufacturer inspected all of the frames that Lippert made for them and rejected the ones with poor welds. Engineering flaws that cause excess stress to frames are the fault of the manufacturers specs. Of course IMO.
