Glass Creek/Mammoth
Planning to camp there with friends for the first time. Any problems with thieves?

- Had a great time. Took a shovel, but no thieves to deal with. The positive reports were right-on.

Thanks - Not so, I believe last year someone pulled a gun on Randy and Elaine, camp hosts. That's why no hosts these days...seems they didn't dig what the host had to say..
- Hi, I go to Glass Creek all the time. Never had or heard of any problems there.
- Thieving chipmunks will JUMP into your baggage doors if you leave them open... they take what they will...
Had some real nice lady bring us a couple glasses of wine when we arrived.
The camping code is in force (nobody messes with anyone else's stuff) - Like bears, thanks........
- Bears will steal your food if you leave it out. Havent heard of any problems with people :B was there from aug 2 till the 10th had a great time, starting to get cool at night. Rest stop is open if coming in from the south, bout 2 mi from camp free water easy access. Have fun.
