To the original poster ("warped_five").
I know you are new to this Forum and this was hardly the welcome or answer you were looking for.
BUT everyone who has responded has told it like it is - that toy-hauler is WAY too much trailer for a 2500HD.
If your heart is set on that fiver, then PLEASE trade the truck for a dually.
That way you, your family and everyone on the road around you will be a helluva lot safer.
To reinforce that, there is always the question of liability if you were to be in an accident. I rather suspect most LEOs would figure out you were way overloaded, which would shift the assumption of fault in your direction.
And that's before any plaintiff's lawyers start talking "negligence"!
That is a hole you REALLY don't want to dig yourself out of!
