I just purchased a montana 285rld two months ago, and am still on the road.
I have heard from other 5th wheel owners, that the Goodyear monarch are junk.
Anyone else have proble, s with these tires?
People tell me to get rid of them as fast as I can.
I would keep them for at least several years, but keep watching them. I always keep the air pressure up at rated pressure, i.e. 80psi for my tires. I look at the tires before any trip to see if there is a bulge on rim side of tire. Look at the rim on the outside and inside side of the wheel. If you see a bulge, replace the tire.
I use the Tire Minder to monitor the tire pressure. If a tire fails during the trip, the monitor will alarm a low tire pressure. You will have time to pull over and get the tire replaced.
Always keep an eye out for dry rot.
