We have always used Goodyear Wrangler LT's with no problems. Depending on what state we are in, we travel between 60 to 70 mph, if the road and terrain permits it. The only time we have ever had a flat-not the tires fault-the valve stem blew-it was rubber and original to 5'vr when we first got it. Have always used metal stems since than. Lars
