The flaw with that theory is plenty of folks that do stay within the ST 65mph limit still have blow outs as attested to on the Forum.
It is good that you haven't had a problem in 7,500 miles, but it's a little like Russian Roulette with an ST tire. Best thing you can do for yourself now is replace them before you take another trip.
