One can dream all they want about ST tires not being a low cost inferior product until you are bit by one. There are way to many people that had repeated failures and switched to higher quality tires and their tire problems went away without changing any other variable.
I got into a conversation with a trailer dealer in Mesa, Az this winter about trailer tires and he was the first dealer that I have ever seen that was honest about the ST tire issues, omitting that they are a low ball item that fail at unacceptable rates.
If you look at the post I made a few days ago, the Cardinal Club has talked Forest River Cardinal into dumping wheels rated to only 3540 for ones rated to 3750 and is now offering LRG tires as an upgrade. So if they are not getting a lot of negative feed back, why would they finally make these changes?
Go to a horse, boat, Air Stream and any other forum with trailers coming OEM with ST tires and it will read just like this one!
If you have not had a problem with them, then I am happy for you, but I have seen way to many beat up rigs arrive at our snowbird park to believe that these tires are not an inferior low ball product.
