I just replaced the gy marathons at 5y/o. Never had a blowout with them but as I was checking pressures I noticed a bulge on one & replaced all 4. I talked to the gy dealer in my town & they told me all gy tires are made in USA except the marathons which are made in China.I stayed with gy but went with the g614. I dont have a problem with gy but I do with China tires. But for what it is worth it's just my opinion.
good choice you will not be sorry!
Use the weight chart for the GY G tire. I upgraded from E Wrangler to the GY G tires and ran 85psi for 5 years with perfect wear and not even a flat.
Per GY Tech, weigh each tire use the heaviest tire look at the chart then add 5psi.
Do not run110psi you will have a rough ride, wear the centers out and have less surface area on the road meaning less stooping ability.
Any non believers call GY Tech Support! This is based on up sizing your tire rating.
