With the new longer pin boxes to improve cab/camper clearance the leverage argument looses some merit in my book. A 3' arm at 28 or 36 degrees is the same leverage (as in the example). If you look in the other thread I posted pictures of the old and new pin boxes. Pretty much the same length, angle a little steeper.
Bottom line, it's your money and your camper, do what you want with it. You will never get a consensus here. Even if the all mighty passed down tablets saying it was good they would still say no. Do your homework and do what is right for you. If the frame manufacture sells the item as an option for their frames, that is good enough for me.
