GOOSENECK TO FIFTHWHEEL ADAPTOR

I bought an adaptor to go from fifthwheel to gooseneck. I pulled the trailer 1800 miles and the pinbox is bent 3" out of line. The manufacturer says tough you caused the problem by going to the Gooseneck. Does anyone out there have or know anyone who has had this problem. ??

    Why would they not admit it. Was this a bad buy. My wheeler was new the sales people of the adaptor did not mention that my warrenty could possibly be voided. Is this a common problem? Is this not the intended use for these adaptors? ANYONE?

    Lots of folks......but few admit it.

    Many MFG. state warranty void if used.
