Something to think about...
With a goose neck or Andersen you are lifting the fiver on and off the "ball", for a conventional fifth wheel hitch... your backing into the king pin either straight on or at different angle, some even slamming into the king pin to get the jaws to lock on the hitch... over time how much damage/stress is on causing to that fifth wheel trailer frame, and to the landing gear?

Your not looking hard enough... There was a guy on here just a few months ago with GN damage. Need me to dig it up?
And why would an Andersen cause trailer damage? It's no different than any other 5er hitch when it comes to exerting forces on the trailer.
