Gooseneck welded on pinbox
I have a 2004 Nomad 5th wheel that has a Bulldog goose neck hitch welded on the pin box of the trailer. Is this that bad of an idea?

My Star Performance Kingpin (Gooseneck) adapter has worked fine since 07. Next door neighbor here in the RGV with a bigger newer Fiver has a Ranch Hand brand adapter on his Fiver. Only frame failures I'm personally aware of were with standard Hitches.
