Gowanus Expressway and BQE
Has any one travelled this route in NY lately and how bad is it compared to the Cross Bronx? Thanks for your input, Moke

We live on Long Island and used the BQE a couple of times over the last year as an alternative to the Cross Bronx. It's actually much better than it used to be. As was mentioned there are some areas where it gets a bit tight but the road surface is not as bad as it used to be. Then again, just like a typical NYC road it's rough compared to just about anywhere else in the U.
