Grand Designs customer service

I just wanted to say thanks to David Hilliker from Grand Designs for his support. I had an issue with the DVD player. One email and a week later I had a new unit at the house that I change out and everything is good.
It's great to see in this day such good service.
Too many times we are quick to point out bad service or issues. Here is an example of a person and company that is trying. Thanks for the effort.

  • The owners of Grand Design know that they can really stand out with their customer service. Combined with really good build quality out the door and a great feature set, you won't go wrong with them.

    JD Adams is another one of their folks that goes the extra mile, and it's really appreciated.
  • I've read numerous reports like this about Grand Design. They will definitely be on our short list for our next 5th wheel. They have some great designs that I think offer good value.
  • I totally agree with you about GD's customer service. I've had my GD Solitude for over two years and they took care of a small problem I had almost a year out of warranty. A great company for sure.
  • I'm astonished at the customer service provided by Grand Design. While I've had no problems with my nearly year old fifth wheel trailer, it's not uncommon to see their CEO and owners personally answer online concerns and give out their personal cellphone and email addresses.

    It's just a shame that the component manufacturers cannot put out more reliable, trouble free products, as it's their products that often cause such frustrations.
  • I have a Grand Design 5th wheel for almost a year now and their Customer service is the best. I would buy another one tomorrow!

    Don't have a GD myself. Yet! But that's what I'm hoping for in the near future. And this is a major reason why. I've always heard their CS is second to none!
    And thanks for a positive post! Your right, usually only hear the negative.
