Have pulled a fiver all over Colorado. Has anyone pulled from I-70 to Grand Lake on highway 40 and 34? How good or bad is the road? Have a GMC Duramax and 34' fiver. Thinking about Winding River Resor...

You should be fine on 70 to 40 to 34. Just take it easy over those passes. Main pass there is Berthoud pass and it has a few sharp turns but I've seen plenty of big rigs doing it. Don't let the people behind you push you out of your limits and you'll do fine. Grand Lake is a beautiful area to camp.
