I have a lube plate installed. I noticed the rust on the back side of the king pin where the jaws contact has been worn off. The SuperGlide didn't do this.
It's not much wear but it got me thinking I may need to lube this metal to metal contact point with something. I'm still learning the details of using this different hitch. I'm guessing there is not a Teflon collar for this, similar to the lube plate.
I'll start with putting some wheel bearing grease on this point when I get her back home next week and monitor it from there.
