Had a bad blow out .And tired of reading 1000 post on tires

Blow caused me 2700.00 in damage.Now ordering parts and have to get 235/80/16 tires.Rims got scuffed but good.Forest river will only sell rims with tires on them. So need tires and rv repair shop said...

Me Again gives good advice. Another option would be to get 17.5" wheels and 215/75r17.5 tires. The benefit there is they are rated for 4805 lbs per tire and will give you an additional safety margin. Something like the Goodyear G114 or the Continental HTL2 Eco Plus. Both of these tires are rated for 75 MPH also. The overall diameter is about .3 inches smaller.
