I have a 2006 carriage 5th wheel that I bought new. It weighs fully loaded for a trip at a little over 14,700lbs. Of that, 3100lbs and the some odd lbs is hitch weight. So I have 11,600lbs on the 5th wheel tires. The original chinese towmax tires lasted 7,000 miles. Since then I have been using Mich. XP RIbbs on the 5th wheel. Have not had any problem since I changed to the XP Ribbs. I replaced them every 5 years by the date that is stamped on the side of the tire. Buying tires every 5 years is a lot cheaper and less inconveient then having a blow out and repairing the 5th wheel as well as buying a tire.
