Carpet Guy 2 ... I had the same problems with st tires as you and many others did, 8 to be exact.Luckily I caught mine before each blew ( about 100 miles apart )from 2008 - 2011 and didn't have any damage.
The 5ver now rides on Michelin XPS ribs LT235/85R/16 LRE Q speed rated up to 100 mph.No more bouncing or tracking problems. These are top quality tires as are the Bridgestone Duravis R250. Both tires give superior service and longevity. My XPS ribs are registerd with Michelin for warranty purposes if needed.
Pulling and camping is much more enjoyable now without wondering when the next tire is about to blow. Peace of mind ... Priceless !
