Figure on adding about 250 lbs to the pin weight when loaded and 1200 lbs to the total weight. I finally weighed after a year and it was heavier than I thought, but it tows and handles well. 5000 miles towing so far.
The Jayco has a Reese Revolution pin box as an option. That eliminates any worries about hitting the back of the cab on a short bed.
We loved the Jayco Eagle 29.5RKS, but the 1700 lb pin weight scared me away. We found the Cougar High Country with the same floor plan and 300 lbs less pin weight. Still too heavy for my specs (the HD Payload package would have made it good), but the SuperSprings and Bilsteins make it ride well. Weight police: yeah, I know.
