What's involved with installing a hardwired surge protector?

Took me about 1/2 hour and I'm a master electrician. worst part bending over and trying to get into space where cord and hardwire come together. Big fat tummy in the way. please know what you are doing or hire a professional. An electrician may be cheaper. The camping store gets $99 an hour. We charge around $65.
