Interesting to think about. Assuming the overhang area is approximately the same distance from the ground, one would think the 13-4 coach would have more head room than the 12-2 coach. But the larger coach has a frame with more cross section, taller tires, possibly taller leaf springs, possibly thicker roof trusses. The basement storage may be taller too. We only have two steps up into the bedroom, where others might have 3.
I also agree with the OP. That ceiling clearance would be a nice specification to have in the brochures, but I've never seen one. RV's are like everything else-designed for middle of the road buyers. No effort made to fit dwarfs or the extra tall.
