- lynndiwagonExplorerHi Rene', I've owned several rigs and this one is the best. Now, don't get me wrong, any rig can and will have their problems. Hopefully you are "handy" as these things take some maintenance. Good luck with your research.
- dbblsExplorerWe like our BC 3450TS. Like any new RV, there will probably be issues.
- Bob_VaughnExplorerWe took our 2011 Big Country to Az then up to Alaska then back to Fl. about 20k miles and no problems what so ever....We love ours...
- TXicemanExplorer IINext door neighbor here at the park has a 2007 Big Horn and has delamination on the street side and the floor to the bedroom slide has been repaired.
Seen a few other Heartland built trailers with similar problems.
Ken - SHExplorerHello!
We had a 2011 3450TS (Gray). Overall I believe the Heartland product was a solid rig. Heartland Customer Service was excellent and their Owners Club awesome.
Our biggest issue with the rig was the gray gel coat. Within a year the gel-coat faded and turned a very dungy gray...the rig looked 10 years old. I believe that is no longer an issue with the newer colors. We had a leak in the overhang around the pinbox. Caused some minor cosmetic damage to the bulkhead area. We had one weld on the bulkhead break but it was an easy fix.
The interior was beautiful! Only complaint was our décor was dark! Lighting was an issue. No windows on the street side of the living area. Seemed like I could never get enough light to be comfortable.
Lots of storage and room with this floorplan. Wife liked the enclosed island kitchen as many prefer the open type. The vessel sink we also liked as there was no more banging your head on the cabinets when brushing your teeth etc. It also provided a bit more counter space.
I think you will be very happy with the Heartland! Best Wishes! - B_O__PlentyExplorer IINobody has better service than the Heartland factory. If you need parts you can buy direct from the factory and they will ship them to you. If you have a question on how to repair something you can call and talk to a real person and get real advice. Need a decal, they will e-mail you a diagram, you pick out the right one and they send it to you. Plus they have a great owners club with the best forum on the net. Sure they have a few problems just like everyone else but overall they are hard to beat. We've had ours for 5 years and about 25-30,000 miles. We live in it an average of over 100 nights a year. It's been a good unit.
B.O. - mudmakerExplorerNo big problems with ours either. We have a 3251TS and use an average of 100 nights per yr. Fender skirt and a cracked decal is all I've ever taken it back for. I've changed a couple things more to my liking but overall it's great. Anything could shine after the last one we had where something needed replaced continually.
BC has lots of insulation so heating and cooling is easy and the outside stays out there and less noticeable. - justafordguyExplorerWe don't have a Big Country but we have had two Heartland trailers (currently a 2015 Gateway) and have been very happy with them. We had one issue with our inverter for the residential fridge but the guy at Heartland was very helpful and sent me a new one. Took 10 minutes to replace and it has worked great ever since. I think you will be very happy with their products and their service.
- Ford_ManExplorerWe owned a 2013 Landmark which is about 2 steps up from the BC and it was a POS. We had so many problems out of it, every time we would go camping something would break on it. We traded it for a 2015 Montana Legacy and are extremely happy about this trade.
- larry_barnhartExplorerFord man We have a couple for one month that went from a Montana to a big Landmark. Brand new and first trip but he had it washed and the fella found a hole in the roof so he had to leave for Tucson to get it repaired. He said it was big and that is all I know. Probably will ask when the arrive again.
