Heartland manufacturer

I have a 2013 Key Largo and have nothing but problems. First trip air conditioner didn't work, and on way home a fender broke.Fridge quit working, crooked slideout,slide put indentations in flooring,leaking water tank,batteries draining down, and my problems are nothing compared to others we have met and talked with

Not any issues with ours. And I for one will never be forced into buying anything. Plus if you were upside down on the last one. That means your lost on this one. Also did they discount the price for the issues? If not I would not have taken it. If they did Discount it then you have nothing to cry about. Sounds like it was the dealer and not Heartland to me.

I'm with you Charlie I call B.S. on that one, I do not care what brand it is sometimes people get real good ones that never see warranty work and some Get the lemons that were built on a Monday or Friday;)

I also asked our dealer's service manager about Bighorns and he said that in the last three years, not one has come back for warranty work. This is the largest RV dealer in the state.

Heartland makes a great rig and I believe it is possible for many rigs to never go back for warranty. My previous rig and current rig has never been back but I took care of many of the small things. That being said I would be very careful with anyone who works for an RV dealership that says none have come back for warranty in the last 3 years. That does not compute in my brain after reading posts on this and another forum for a number of years. :)

I was forced to buy a new Heartland Landmark while on vacation at Disney a month ago, I say forced because I was trading a 2013 forest river aviator that I owed way more than it was worth and CW was the only dealer that would deal , so anyhow I bought a 2013 landmark that had been sitting on there lot since it was delivered from heartland and it has many scratches on the wood work , filthy carpets and apparently was never washed after a trip from the salt covered roads up north so it has a good coating of rust, all of these things seem normal to heartland. I have contacted them on a few issues and they responded quickly and their suppliers also have taken care of things in a timely fashion, much better than Forest River did.

I own a Montana but Heartland builds a great RV as well and just like Montana they have great customer support and a great Member Forum which you should join get all the answers to anything about your Rig

on 3rd 5th wheel, traded in the alpenlite for the sundance, no complaints, went in for the small warranty stuff, fixed right away with no problems. heartland seems to stand behind their product from what I've seen

Hopefully, I'm picking up my Bighorn in a few days. We have already been through it (it was at a show) and visited it again a couple of weeks ago. Heartland management has answered all my questions. I am very impressed with everything about our new Bighorn and we have confidence that the coach will be fine for many years. I also asked our dealer's service manager about Bighorns and he said that in the last three years, not one has come back for warranty work. This is the largest RV dealer in the state.
