Looks like your bearings are suited for your trailer based on 17.2k gross. The videos I have seen of failed NevRlubes had the hub bores flopping around, bearings missing and were overall trashed. They were so bad that they would have been detected with an inspection like what you already performed. My bearings, after 10 seasons, weep a little grease on the axle shaft center bearing but none on the brakes. I like the idea of the IR gun to pinpoint the heat source.
