I haven't been here for a few weeks and used the toilet tonight and when it's being flushed it fills the room with black tank smell really bad.
Is this just from sitting and it's been real hot ? Do the tanks not vent to the roof and air out there ? Any way to reduce this ? The tank is on a quarter full give or take.
1) Use more water in the tank after dumping.
2) Check that the vent is clear.
3) Think about installing some sort of venturi on the top of the tank vent. Cyclone Vent or 360 Siphon Vent, for example.
