Height adjustment

Question

Have a Jayco Eagle 305 and when hitched up it has a noticable slant towards the rear. Was wondering if I could level it out by moving the springs and equaliser down a notch or two as opposed to flipping the axles.

Its about 3-4" lower at the rear than at the front.

Advice greatly appreciated.

i would start with lowering the suspension components to the lower holes and if possible drop the front down a little, as long as you leave about 5 or 6 inches between the box sides and the bottom of the trailer.

You have 4 choices.One, drop pins to lower holes as you have suggested.  This will raise the RV.Two, lower your hitch.Three, raise your pin box.Four, any combination of the above.As already suggested, whatever you do maintain your bed rail clearance to a minimum of 6 inches.

That's what them other holes are for......height adjustment.

I was a bit nose high......moved spring eyes down one hole and gained 2", which corrected my nose high, didn't change bed rail clearance and gave me more tire clearances

Glad I read this post.  I have the nose high problem as well.  Looks like I have another project for me....yeah?  Going to check the trailer tomorrow to see if I can adjust my suspension as well.
