x2 - I calculate 10mpg, give or take. I typically get a bit over 11mpg on long trips. Run around 60mph.
Speed is another factor with mpg for sure. I usually set the cruise at 65 and let it do its thing. I'm amazed at how rarely it will drop into 5th gear.
To the OP: you will read a lot of 1/2 ton bashing here but I have came to the conclusion that this truck is in a class by itself and many here have not realized it. Mine impresses me every time I hook up. Like anything else it does have its limits but as long as you know them and stay within them you will be a happy camper.
