Not having to deal with all the weight transfer, multiple WD adjustments or worse yet spending $2500 on an HA or PP cause there are no used ones for sale, just reinforces the fact that a 5th is easier to setup for towing, which translates into a better towing experience. If you don't have to fine tune anything then it must be right from the start. JMHO but the best thing about towing with a 5th is that I no longer have to remove the dirty WD head and bars every time I go camping. Once at the CG, and then when home. Plus no more bruised shins.:)
We dry camp a lot and when I was using a used HA on our TT it was always a PITA to have to hitch up on a slanted dirt drive. The TT is still level before hitching up, but the truck is tilted ever which way. It always took 3-4 times getting in and out of the truck adjusting the HA head so I could back the stinger in further. Now I just back the 5th hitch right into the king pin. No messing with anything.
