Help me choose 5th Wheel Toy Hauler

The choices are overwhelming... And not enough! Here's what we want:
Under 40 ft.
10' garage is fine (we hope to get an electric golf cart to use at Disney)
We have two teens (boy & girl) who will need to sleep separately in it.
Hopefully the teens will not be coming with us when we retire in a few years.
I want a fireplace.
Husband wants 4-door fridge/freezer. He also wants a headboard that does not tilt forward and night tables on both sides of bed. (picky man)
We don't care whether there's a loft, but there's got to be room for storing the kids' clothes, sneakers, sheets, towels, pillows, etc.

QUALITY CONSTRUCTION. Doesn't have to be all high-end upgrades, but does have to be built to last.

We've looked at Voltage, Cyclone and Fuzion in person and I've looked at Jayco's Seismic online.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

    I just bought a Forest River XLR Hyperlite with a 10' garage, and so far we love it! Granted, we haven't even brought it home from the dealer either..... We closed on it the day before I had to leave town and come out to Fort Lewis, WA but I will be back on 2 AUG to pick it up. We went with the XLR for four reasons; seperate 10' garage, built in generator, seems very sturdy and only 9000lb dry and 1600lb pin weight. We picked it up for around 35K. Take a look at one, may be just what you are looking for.

    We came from a Montana to a Cyclone; its been a surprise as to how much interior storage the Montana had in comparison to the Cyclone. (Montana was done very well)

    We compared the same 3 toyhaulers and felt the Cyclone had the edge for fit/finish/quality of components. But they all fall well below a New Horizons or a Space Craft.

    I've dealt with Heartland a fair amount (our custom order came in wrong and they had to build us a new one after our trade was already turned in) to date their service has been incredibly positive.

    All in all,
    Of the three brands you listed they all make ok rigs; but they are a far cry from the full custom setups.

    I am currently in the market also.

    I want a king bed master so I am interested in the Raptor 332TS.

    it is 36.6 in length, I am also trying to stay under 40 because we do state parks. the garage has 2 queen beds.

    check it out. might fit your needs.

    I hadn't thought about that. Although, I'm pretty sure I'd take a slap to the head if I suggested it.:)

    In our current rig, we have a walk-through bath. It doesn't bother us because usually it's just the four of us (mom, dad & kids) and we close the door to the bedroom when showering and everyone knows not to come in till the showerer is finished. On the odd times that we've had others with us, we explain to them about the shower and closed door, and we haven't had any problems.

    So this really isn't an issue for us :)

    Try inviting a few of your wife's cuter friends camping! :)

    Seriously- I totally agree. A walk through bathroom would be a deal breaker on any rv I ever purchased.

    I'm leaning toward the Mountaineer. It's just so similar to what we have. Just switch out the Garage for a four foot shorter bunkhouse and it would be nearly the same 5th wheel. I was kind of looking to get somthing different, but I guss it kind of comes under the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of though, huh?

    That's a good point you've got about Keystone dealerships being everywhere. We've got three Camping Worlds not too far from us, and I beleive they all sell/service Keystone.

    I never new they had a Mountaineer with a garage. I like it.

    One thing about Keystone. Wherever you go, they have dealerships everywhere. If you do have an issue on the road, I'd think you could get some help. The closest Heartland dealership to the Raleigh area is 100 miles away. Except Camping World just bought out a dealership here.

    But as often as we've had to take our cyclone in for repairs, that 200 miles round trip gets really old and really expensive. If we have to leave it there when getting repaired, it becomes a 200 mile round trip, TWICE.

    I'm just not too sure about the quality of Keystone. I'm also hoping to hang on to our next unit for at least 10 years, so quality is important. Our current 5th wheel has held up extremely well for 9 years. Virtually no problems other than usual wear and tear, and a minimum wear at that.
