Hi there been doing alot of research on here lately trying to find the perfect toy hauler for my needs and have been having trouble deciding! Anyways im in the market for a newer toy hauler fifth wheel somewhere from 38-40 ft but heres the trouble I need to fit a four seater sxs in the cargo area and would like to find a cargo box somewhere in the 12-13 ft range but after looking at full measurement of 4 seat sxs they are around 147"-148" long so that would mean I would need a 12'3" cargo area so im wondering if guys that have 4 seater sxs could fit there sxs in a 12 foot cargo! Also some of the toy haulers I have looked at are the 2016 voltage 3305, 2015 raptor 332ts and the 2014 momentum 355th! Are favorite is the raptor 332ts but the cargo is only 12 ft! The voltage has a 12'6" cargo area but we find the raptor to be better quality! The momentum has 12'2" cargo area and the quality of the unit seems to be on par with the raptor! So which of the three would be your first choice what are the good, bad and ugly of these toy haulers? Also I know someone might say go to a 14 ft cargo area but all models we have looked at that are that size are too long or too heavy! We will be towing with a 2014 dodge 3500 srw! Thanks for any input guys!

Have you looked at Jayco Seismics? I've got the 3912. Has a 12ft garage, but not sure the exact measurement. Ours is a 44 footer, but they have smaller models. I love the quality of Jayco. I looked at all the other brands, read reviews, etc. But, I was convinced by just plain word of mouth. Every Jayco owner I met, is happy and only recommended one. When it comes to your tow vehicle, be very careful. These toy haulers are heavy girls. I had a Dodge 2500 which I modified with air bags and an exhaust brake. This truck did just fine in OK, AR, and TN. But, I burned up the tranny in CO, pulling up Monarch pass. I now have a Dodge 5500 and it pulls like a dream. If you will be pulling in mountainous areas, you'll need low gears. My 5.9 Cummins in the 2500 had the power, but the tranny didn't make it. My 5500 has 4.88 gears. It pull my rig anywhere.

Considering you need over 12' and I'm assuming you really need to stay under 3K on your pin weight (I'm guessing), this is a strong option.XLR 375 AMP

Have a 2014 900rzr4 that fits into my 2006 Raptor 3612 easily.It is listed as 12ft.You almost have to measure the garage because they are not real accurate about their measurments.Have had good luck with TH and it is light compared to the new monsters.

We just bought a Carbon. Made by Keystone (same as Raptor) and really like it for the price and size. They have bigger ones, you could look into them. We saw some Tesla's by Evergreen at a show.....those are really nice too....wife said it was too much for us though.

You really need a 14' garage. The folding rail around the ramp patio and the three season doors both take up space in the rear of the garage cutting you down to closer to 13'. Mine has a 14' garage and we love the floorplan. Link below...XLR 395 AMP

I brought our 2016 Grand Design 380TH home today. I had never pulled anything that big. I drove around the dealership parking lot for about a half hour getting the feel for how it turns and backs up.
I did surprisingly well at backing it into our driveway. My wife said it took about 15 minutes, but seamed like 30 to me. The driveway is only 2 feet longer then the toyhauler, so I put out a railroad tie to stop at instead of the rain gutter on the house roof.

They build them well, and they really stand behind them after the sale. We love our 385TH.

Congratulations on the new rig. I looked at GD at a couple of shows and they do look better built and a little more expensive.

This company is fairly new started I think in 2013 but from all the research I have done they seem to have the best built toy haulers out there! Biggest differences were hydralic slides for main big slides, every single opening in trailer is aluminum framed! 3 year structural warranty, all other units we looked at were only 1 year! The attention to detail inside and out of trailer everything is well put together no wires hanging duct work floppy around like I seen on many other brands!

Its 38' 8" length and weighs 13600 dry with 16500 gvrw two 7000 pound axles

Also yes these units are more expensive than most but after really looking at all of the different brands I do think u get what u pay for!

I'll second you decision. I too just went with the Grand Design. I chose the 380TH. I've been looking at them since they came out at the RV shows. We looked at all the others and kept coming back to the GD.
Let's see some pictures. We pick up our's next Wednesday.

I'm in your situation. I've been researching for over a year to upgrade. I recently saw the Momentum toy haulers and realized I'm glad I've waited. They are, IMO, the best out there for the money. Attention to detail in ways I believe is superior to the other brands. I was very impressed and that is the way I'm leaning right now too. I think you made an excellent choice.

I was 40LBs over GVRW. the second time weighed was with 40 gal water and was 60 lbs under GVRW both time fully loaded and ready to go.My 2013 Duramax pay load is 2800 The Impact pin weigh 2790. With my rig and 1000 lb Harley and gear in the garage takes some weight off the pin. Im pushing the limit, the rig handles excellent adding air bags didn't really notice much of a difference, other then giving the springs a brake. I haven't weighed empty and don't care to know how much im over because I can feel it.
