Hershey show recommendations??

Hello all. Have never been to the Hershey PA show but have heard great things about it so we are planing to attend next weekend. We are looking at toy haulers and want to see as many floor plans in person as we can in one day. any suggestions from anyone who has been there to help us be efficient looking at toy haulers? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the Momentum does look nice, but I gotta agree about the price! Not only that, but when you go that heavy, then you have to have a special (expensive also!) truck to pull it.
I'm sure a 3/4 ton will pull it just fine. You didn't want to stop as well did you?

These RVs can just get into too much money for something that's basically a toy - certainly not a necessity - for most of us. And here in PA, we cannot use it year-round.

We will be at the show on Saturday. Can't wait!!

I agree except for the point about camping year round.. I am in PA and camp year round which is why insulation values are so important. I do 80% of my 4 wheeling in the winter time which is why I want a TH with heated tanks etc. With that said, it really seems to me like an all or nothing type thing. I wish they would do something like a "Tradesmen" level ram truck. The Truck you are buying is exactly the same as the double priced Laramie with simply fewer creature comforts. Any time you go down in price on an RV they use lighter axels, smaller water heater, cheaper insulation, etc. I want to find a very well built RV with just a totally basic interior. I am going to look at as many as I can this Saturday in Hershey. Supposed to be mid 60's and sunny so perfect day for it!

For $100K it better be nice! Looking at something like that is just depressing. Very nice TH! Cant wait to see it in person

  • We went a few years ago. Picked up our map at the gate and then headed to mainly the manufacturers we wanted to see. Some dealers carried many different lines.

As organized as I thought we were, we still spent most of the day there. Then were able to get back to the RV Park in MD shortly after dark.
  • They are spread out per the dealer and manufacturers. It will take a while to look at everything, but the good part is toyhaulers stick out due to their size. Good luck.
  • Here's the map for manufacturers displays. link

That should help a little.. been there the past 7 years. start at one end and work your way thru. there is always staff at the isles who could direct you.

good luck. btw we bought our new 5th wheel there last september
