Tires (car/truck/MH/trailers) are adjusted when COLD

COLD is before driving on them

COLD air pressure is set (105 psi ---what you like) and then LEFT alone until COLD. Adjust as needed when COLD

I had a neighbor that had his lawn mower upside down on saw horses. I questioned him and he said that he was changing oil and draining the old gas.I tried explaining the right way but he did not want to hear it. When he set it upright he put the gas in the oil hole and the oil in the gas tank. I looked 2 hours later and he was still pulling it to start it. Ya cant fix stupid

So adjusting a tire hot or cold to say run 110 psi when hot is a bad thing ? Sure you put in 110 psi cold they can run nearly 120 when hot. I know they are designed to do that. I don't know where he got the idea about the tires blowing when getting hot, but if he doesn't need 110 psi to begin with, then what does it matter what he does , unless he runs them too low for the weight on them. There is a reason for weight charts.

I don't want to run my G rated tires at 110 psi, don't need to , usually 95-100. Pretty sure they get pretty close to 110 when hot.

You have to wonder when he checks them after camping or stopping for the night what he thinks when his tires are all low LOL ...

I worked for a major trucking company, every time we would come into the terminal they had people checking the trailers for correct air pressure while they were hot, they would also always change the right most rear tire on almost every trailer. I had the same trailer one day, pulled into the terminal 5 different times and they changed the same rear tire 5 times along with check the air pressure on the rest ... I ask why in the world are you checking hot tires, there answer was because we are suppose to ...

Talk about dumb and dumber with job security !

And when they do blow/separate/wear badly from being over-loaded/under-inflated the tires will be labelled junk!
